Understanding the First Amendment

How can an average American really understand what the First Amendment really means? By reading it and paying attention to what the actual words really mean. Let's look at this word by word:

Congress
Congress, the second branch of our government is the subject of this sentence. This is talking about something done by Congress. Not the President, a City Councilperson or the Dogcatcher. The First Amendment refers to something that Congress may or may not do. Period.

shall make
This is the verb of the sentence. It describes the action that may or may not be done by Congress. It doesn't have anything to do with other actions. It doesn't refer to eating, traveling or acknowledging God.

no law
This is the direct object. It tells what Congress shall or shall not make. Notice that this limits the law making capacity of Congress. It has to do with the making of a law. Period. To say it means anything else is to lie about the First Amendment.

Make no mistake. The people of the Radical  Heathen Left are educated people. They know how to read the First Amendment. They know what it says and what it means. They don't want you to know what it means. They are spending millions of dollars to perpetuate their lies to satisfy their agenda. They are trying to take your liberties away from you - in the name of the First Amendment.

respecting an establishment of religion
The law Congress is forbidden to make is a law that establishes government religion. This was a revolutionary concept at the time. Most nations had their State Churches or State Religions. America was to be different. The United States would not have an official church to the exclusion of  other denominations. Each person would be free to worship God they way he or she believed, and the Government could not persecute them for doing so.

Nowhere did it say that government could not acknowledge God. Our government has acknowledged God without establishing a particular religion ever since it was founded. The Radical Heathen Left is not satisfied with the First Amendment and over 200 years of precedence in American history. Their tactic is anti-American and anti-God. They have to resort to lies and deception to get their agenda across.

Read the words again. They are easy to understand. You don't have to rely on what other people tell you. If you are intelligent enough to read this article, you are intelligent enough to understand that the First Amendment really says.
