President Franklin Delano Roosevelt's Public Prayer
Was he violating the Constitution?
Was he worried about offending an unbeliever?
 

NOTE: This prayer was prayed by the liberal Democrat President Franklin D. Roosevelt on a nationwide radio network for all Americans to hear. Roosevelt believed that prayer to God was important to help us win World War II.

President Roosevelt showed that reliance on God was not a Democrat thing or a Republican thing. It is an American tradition that has been honored by our Founding Fathers and every generation of leaders - Republican or Democrat - to this day.
